Just like our friends with AHIMA that are working together to advance the health information profession on Capitol Hill, we want to continue highlighting those that advance the profession right here at TrustHCS.
Tracy Colletti serves as a Lead Coder for TrustHCS. Over the years she has constantly grown and expanded in her leadership role among the TrustHCS team.
When nominated for recognition by the TrustHCS leadership team, it was noted that Tracy has been pivotal in the success of one of the larger health system clients TrustHCS serves. Tracy took on to the important task of compiling data for health system HIM management into manageable and meaningful segments. This included her taking the initiative to spearhead becoming a power user of a new revenue cycle system to ensure TrustHCS management has proper data for work assignment.
In addition to these regular reporting activities Tracey has also been tasked with keeping her fellow coding staff up to speed on any changes that impact the coding services the team delivers. She has shown great leadership in training new coders, showing them patience and understanding, when learning new client projects and systems. She has also taken extra time to create walk through videos of processes to help her peers.
When asked to describe Tracy, TrustHCS Director of Coding Operations, Lori Owens, stated, “Tracy is an outstanding employee who has embraced one of TrustHCS’ main core competencies, Family.” Tracy’s encouraging attitude, friendly demeanor, and outstanding work ethic make her a Health Information Professional worthy of extra praise during this week!
